Originally founded in Venice, Italy by Mr. Emilio Minella in 1958 as a manufacturer and distributor of rotary cam switches, pushbuttons and contactors. Mr. Minella also went on to found in 1963 C.E.M.E. S.p.A., a world class leader in the production medium and high voltage disconnect switches ( up to 1050 kv ) for substation applications.
